Barrel Proof Direct Shipping Policy

1. Legal Notice

When you place an order with Barrel Proof Direct, you’re authorizing us to ship your bottles via a licensed common carrier. Ownership transfers to you once the shipment leaves our facility, and the carrier acts on your behalf from that point forward.

Shipping insurance is not included. If coverage is important to you, it must be arranged independently.

2. Order Processing

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Within 48 hours, you’ll receive one of the following updates:

• Your order is confirmed and preparing to ship

• Your order is delayed or on backorder

• Your order cannot be fulfilled and your card will not be charged

In-stock orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. When your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information from UPS or FedEx.

3. Age Verification

We ship only to customers 21 years of age or older.

By ordering, you confirm that both the purchaser and recipient meet this requirement. A valid government-issued ID and signature are required at delivery. No exceptions.

If delivery is attempted three times without a successful signature, the order will be returned to us. Reshipment is available for a $20 fee.

4. Shipping Availability

We do not ship to all states due to alcohol regulations. If your state is restricted, checkout will be unavailable on our website.

5. Shipping Method & Fees

All orders ship via ground service through UPS or FedEx. Rates are calculated based on weight, size, and destination.

We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

Weather delays may occur. If a shipment is returned after three unsuccessful delivery attempts, a $20 reshipping fee applies.

6. Damaged Shipments

Once your order is in the carrier’s hands, Barrel Proof Direct is not responsible for transit damage.

If your order arrives damaged, email liquorlineup@gmail.com with clear photos of the packaging and contents so we can assist with the carrier claim.

Extreme heat or cold can affect spirits. Upon request, we can hold your shipment until conditions improve at no additional charge.

7. Taxes

Applicable state and local taxes will be calculated and added at checkout, based on your shipping address.

8. Delivery Requirements & Compliance

We ship to residential and business addresses. Someone 21+ must be present to sign during standard delivery hours.

Some states limit quantities or types of alcohol that may be shipped. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with local laws before placing an order.
